A community festival to grieve losses and celebrate strength through music, culture, conversation, and ritual. This is a FREE in-person experience presented by Leimert Park and Reimagine.

Friday Community Workshops
One day before the main street celebration, warm up with two incredible workshops: Renowned death doula Alua Arthur and activist Erin Wimberly explore the weight of loss from birth to death, while finance educator Misty Wilkes offers workshop on how to financially prepare for the end.

Saturday Main Stage: A People Street Concert
Outdoors on People Street, join an epic multi-genre show. The community honors gospel icon Andrae Crouch and jazz greats and youth featuring a set with working artist hero Stemsy Hunter and Terrace Martin, renown Hip Hop collaborator (Kendrick Lamar, Snoop, and so many more) -- and then features the House of Vibe Allstars Collective - a house band of legends, walking through some of the greatest songs on loss, love, and justice ever written performed by featured artists, Medusa, Georgia Anne Muldrow, I.Khan (yes, Chaka's daughter!) Blvk H3ro, Supernatural MC.

Saturday Community Events & Workshops
Next to the main stage, the streets of Leimert Park come alive with community-led workshops and forums around grief, healing and growth with community partners and thought leaders.

Art & Rituals
A large-scale community altar will serve as the centerpiece of the festival stage on People Street - bring a scan of a photo, a memento or other tribute you'd like to offer to remember your loved one.
