The LA River gets its annual celebration and it is a good one. Friends of the Los Angeles River's fifth annual RiverFest takes over LA State Historic Park on Sunday for a free open-air environmental arts and community festival. Prepare yourself for live music, local artists, an environmental art gallery, a marketplace, interactive eco-activities for families, and food trucks from some of LA's best.

RiverFest is a celebration of the people, culture, and history that shape the LA River, and a reminder that the river belongs to all of us. FoLAR has been working toward a vibrant, verdant, equitably accessible LA River for decades.
